Against what I perceive to be prevailing opinion, I like change. The currency that is. Unlike paper money, the small coins have weight; mass. They don't represent a large amount of money, they are the expressions of fractional amounts of the dollar. I suppose they are small diversified investments that hang out in my pocket. They are tools which pay balances precisely. They're small and underestimated, which is my favorite sort of asset. They amuse me because there are other fractional amounts that are powerful, like PI.
So, I'll try to explore some economic concepts in the manner of my friends the penny, nickle, quarter, and dime: Accurately, a little at a time, and with a bit of a jingle.
